At its heart sits The Boat House, a rustic timber-framed sanctuary that recently set the stage for one of the most intimate proposals we’ve ever witnessed.   The Allure of the Wild The Wilderness offers something different: a sense of profound peace. For this couple, the goal was a moment that felt entirely their own, away from the world and tucked into the reeds. Creating the Atmosphere To lean into the “low-light” romance of the evening, we focused on texture and tone. Because we prioritize the safety of our guests and the preservation of our wooden structures, we swapped traditional flames for state-of-the-art flicker-effect candles.   The result? Pure magic. The Glow: Dozens of these realistic, glowing candles lined the wooden steps and the deck. They provided that signature amber pulse without a single worry about the breeze or the timber. The Time: Choosing dusk meant the sky turned a deep, velvet indigo, providing a stunning contrast to the warm, golden light radiating from the Boat House.
